Requirements

Donors must have at least 8-inches or more of hair to cut. Grey hair is OK. Hair may not be bleached or a color that is not naturally occurring. Please wash and dry hair ahead of making your hair donation. After your donation, you will be provided with a voucher to receive a FREE haircut and style at Smith Hair Salon in Temecula, Calif. Pechanga Resort Casino reserves the right to turn away donors who do not meet the above criteria.

Pechanga hosts the 10th annual Mane Campaign in conjunction with Hair We Share, Paul Mitchell Temecula The School, and Smith Hair Salon. To date, Pechanga has donated more than 600 ponytails to be made into real-hair wigs. The wigs are distributed free of charge to those battling cancer through hospitals and resource centers across the country. If you know someone undergoing cancer treatment and in need of a wig or cancer resource assistance, the Michelle’s Place organization is the cancer resource center for the Inland Empire and North San Diego region.
