Introducing Smokin’ Hot Slots – a fully enclosed and detached room with 300 slots and high limit games where guests wishing to smoke can play in comfort.


A separate and enclosed gaming salon allowing smoking can be enjoyed on the 2nd floor above the Round Bar. Separated from the rest of the resort/casino, Smokin’ Hot Slots features an altogether separate air filtration system from our main casino floor.

The air from the new space will never mix with the air circulated on the main level.

Cigarette Butt Recycling at Pechanga

Cigarette butts are the #1 thrown out piece of trash in the U.S. Pechanga is doing its part by collecting all cigarette butts from the casino & hotel grounds and sending them to TerraCycle. The company makes the butts into park benches, even tote bags and frisbees. The best part? It keeps toxic trash out of the landfill and from breaking down into our environment.

This is a fully enclosed room, detached from the main casino floor. The slots smoking room is on the 2nd floor above the Round Bar.

It’s important to note there are two completely separate air systems at play – one for the main casino floor, and one for the Smokin’ Hot Slots room. Each cycles air separately and pushes air to the outside at different locations. The two systems and the air coming from each never mix. Feel free to watch THIS VIDEO to see how the systems work.

Yes. There are two sets of double doors about 15 feet apart from the first. Air from the double door enclosure is pulled up and outside the building.

Everything one would find on the main casino floor is available for smoking room guests including beverage service, slot attendants and cashier/cage services. There are also ample cigarette butt recycling receptacles and Pechanga Environmental Services Team Members to guarantee AAA Four Diamond resort cleanliness standards.

Cigarette butts are the most discarded piece of trash worldwide. At Pechanga, we are working to do our share to reduce the amount of cigarette butts finding their way into landfills. Our dedicated environmental services team empties the cigarette butt receptacles, as well as any others they find, into storage drums. The drums are sent to TerraCycle, a company that separates the butts and produces various products with the plastic and paper found inside each cigarette. The butts get turned into park benches, plant pots, watering cans, frisbees, tote bags and more.

Yes. It is open 24/7, just like the rest of Pechanga Resort Casino.
